Wow I was so impressed with Stephen Wiltshire work. I enjoyed the early show this morning. I would love to meet Mr. Wiltshire. If he comes back to New York. He is so handsome, besides being so very gifted. I would love to just shake his hand….. and for him to meet my grand children….. to inspire them to be all they can be….We need more people like Stephen Wiltshire…I feel so blessed to have seen him this morning…..Like my Father would always say it's never to late…I'm 61 years of age…….

  7. Autism was an unknow word untill I say a TV show in Hindi (India) about Autism. The TV show is about an Autistic girl and how the parents cope up with the girl. Though I feel the show has not reflected the true nature of Autism, I feel at least it has bought some awareness to the people in India.

    Hi,
Wanted to let you know how much I love your blog, not just the content but the actual template! Its fantastic! I tried to leave a comment on your blog but it wouldn’t take it. I wasn’t sure if anyone else had the same problem or if anyone had mentioned it to you. I had the same thing occur with one of my blogs once and was unaware of it for some time.
This blog is a God send for me. I am amazed how much information you have on here, its just what I needed… particularly the weighted blanket! Thanks so much.

I think this is GREAT. I do not have special needs or know anyone but I do have restless leg syndrome and at night I LOVE a weighted blanket on my lap to calm the leg down and keep it still. Very relaxing while watching tv. I can only imagine how much this would help someone with 10x the sensory sensitivity I have felt.

GOOD LUCK with this! Your story is a good one.

Your website looks really good. Being a blog writer myself, I really appreciate the time you took in writing this article.

  15. I think ‘joy of autism’ recently posted on a similar subject – as we’re gearing up for our annual visit / vacation to England, you have my full sympathy.
